Here is my warp board with yarn. I was not able to find anyone willing to help me wind it so I used pictures and what I hope was common sense and tried winding it myself. I really hope I was able to do this correctly and I hope the stripes work. I think I have a fair shot of it being ok. I am really excited to see what I get. Posted by Picasa

Can you taste the rainbow? I think I will call this Skittles. That is what the color's remind me of and miss thing lives off of skittles as well. I really hoped that my winging it was correct and it does stripe. We will see when it is dry. Posted by Picasa

Lovely greenish summery mermaid outfit from new knits on the block. I LOVE this I mean LOVE this pattern it is so easy and so fast to work up and the stitch patter is very easy to remember and watch TV with. The only thing I don't like is that I could not find the yarn called for Schachenmayr Goa. I also could not seem to get anything comparible to it either so since this is just for the kids to wear and play with I cheaped out and got Sugar and Cream cotton ;-0 This one is for my neice and I am trying to score some Goa (which btw is discontinued) or something similar. I have found some that are close but not in colors I like. Anyone have any suggestions I am definately open to them. Posted by Picasa

Doesn't this shirt just say it all? Posted by Picasa

My lovely april post card pal (Jen at knitmamaknit) sent me this as she felt bad for getting it out so late. I cannot wait to start with this I am going to attempt to make a cute case for my new Palm. My old one was in a custom made case but it was a leopard print regular paper organizer that I modified to fit my Clie. I didn't knit back then. So I feel that this new friend need a squishy hand made sleeve and I love the citrus look of this yarn. This is some of my favorite colors together. It is so birht and summery too. Thank you so much Jen!!!! Posted by Picasa

Lana's first time in the grass. She loved it. I have pictures somewhere of my older daughter screaming bloody murder the first time she felt grass. I think there will be a big difference in the two of these since my older one is very princessy and hates to get dirty. Posted by Picasa

I followed Scout's instructions on the warp board for self stripping yarn. Now I just need someone to tell me how to wind it! Posted by Picasa

Making steping stone with pictures for my mother and mother-in-law. This is the one for my mom she only has 3 grandkids so hers is easier my MIL has nine and I am waiting on recent pics from the inlaws to be emailed so I can finish that one. My faithful Clie of 5 years passed away on me the other day. This was an original Clie. It was slow had low memory and was black and white, but I ran my life. Everything was in there. I almost could not get up in the morning with out it. Crazy me, I thought I could learn to live without it but alas I cannot, I mean really who was I kidding. Funny thing, they no longer make a Sony Clie. Well......considering that I am the most unorganized person in the world I need all the help I can get so I had to break down and buy a Palm Z 22. Ya know what. I actually like it. I like it a lot. I was able to upload pictures of my girls to it to take with me and color code all of our schedules, Mine, hubby, and the girls. Dr's appts. and all that fun stuff. I really do like it. It has more upgraded features and it also gives me more choices of what I want to do on it. I do really like and so far I am even better organized then when I had my Clie (due to more efficient programs) So farwell my black and white friend and hello the new color way upgraded Z22. Posted by Picasa
