Lana with her summer bonnet, which by the way, is a newborn size one. She is now 6 months old. I would not want to meet the newborn that this fits considering it is way huge on her now.. Posted by Picasa

Mr Man looks quite comfy doesn't he? Posted by Picasa

The simpley lovely lace waterlilly socks. I love this particular color but I think it is too much and too dark to do this pattern justice. So I decided to dye my own....... Posted by Picasa

My self dyed kool-aid Frog Tree fingering alpaca for simply lovely lace socks. I used a cherry, a watermelon strawberry, and a strawberry. I'm not sue if I am going to use it this way it is kinda peachy pink. Or I might get some more Cherry and try to make it darker. I haven't decided yet Posted by Picasa

My boot swap pal just let me know she got my stuff so I thought I would throw up a couple of quick pics of it all. I went to I-party and found this treasure chest center piece that I used to put all the booty in (put in a larger outside box for mailing of course) and a ripped burned piece of parchment treasure map. Scroll down for the pics of the treasures in side. Posted by Picasa

The stuff that was in the box for my Booty Swap pal. She emailed me today to let me know she got it and I have been dying to put up some pics. Black and Pink Encore Worsted, Sheepy Tape Measure from Lantern Moon, Assorted treasures (chocolates shaped like treasure chests filled with chocolate cream, peanut butter, and caramel) some Sponge Bob gold chocolate coins, Plus a hand knit and felted pirate tote (hello Yarn pattern) with Cascade 220 and the skull is Lamb's pride. Posted by Picasa

No I did not fall off the face of the earth for those of you who (ok the two of you) who possibly read my blog. I left to go again to NJ as I was told they were taking my sister in for a C-section on the 19th. We left monday and were there until Sunday. Mom and Baby are doing fine. Dad is holding up well also. She is so already a daddy's girl. It was a good trip my girls were great on both trips and they were so patient all the time we spent in the hospital and the running around we did. We are back now. And I did score a copy of the IK with the simpley lovely lace socks pattern. I started working on it but I'm not sure I love it. I love the picture of the ones JanuaryOne made for her sock pal. I think that because I am using a sportweight and a slightly verigated hand painted beautiful yarn from a local sorce. Penobscot Hand Dyed Mosaic Yarns. I love the yarn but I just don't think it is right for this pattern. I think I might attempt to dye a solid one for myself ina color I want. We will see. I will get some pics later and update. It is soo good to be home  Posted by Picasa

Welcome to the world Kristen Amanda. 7 lbs. 7 ozs. 19 inches. She was born one day before Lana was 6 months old. Lana was 7 lbs. 7ozs. and 19 1/4 inches. Cute Huh? Posted by Picasa

The little footprints are the best. I love little baby feet. My hospital would not print either one of my girls for me. Posted by Picasa

The three grand(girls)kids. LOL everyone wanted a boy for my sister. Posted by Picasa

Completed Magic loop baby socks. Worked on while in hospital waiting room. We were there and waiting when she went in to have baby and then everyday we came back to see her and baby. Well of course the girls could not go in the room so we had to do a tag team between me and my dad to see my sister and to stay with the girls. Posted by Picasa

My three goof balls. The girls were so happy to be home and see their dadyy. Posted by Picasa

Even being sick with Strep throat and 104 degree fever (don't worry been on penicilln for at least 48 hours, no longer contagious) I managed to make 20 candy pops that I promised her I would, with an easter theme for Kiki to take to school today. I was up until 2 o'clock this morning finishing them. Not too much else going on I have been sooo sooo sick and just that alone laid me up let alone taking care of a 4 year old and a 5 month old baby who was also not feeling well and could not keep anything down. I am feeling better now still tired and drained but better. Lana is also felling better she has been eating and keeping it down as of late. Kiki woke up a couple of hours ago and promptly started throwing up all over my living room. She feel asleep there while we were coloring eggs in the kitchen. I hope she is not getting sick as we have to go to NJ Monday because my sister is due for C section on Wednesday. Yeah! If any of us are still sick tho I will not leave monday as I do not want to risk getting anyone down there sick at all with the new baby coming. I knitting news I have scrapped the sock that Kiki cut up on me. I have plans for the Simpley Lovely Lace Socks from the new IK. I cannot get my hands on a copy of this mag. It is impossible to get. No one up here has it and if they do carry it they are all sold out and cannot get more in. I found one Barnes and Nobel by my sister in North Brunswick I sent my dad in there today to get it for me. Yeah I have been looking for this for like 2 weeks and when I saw the one January One knit I was so so in love. So yeah I am bringing needles and if I can find some lush sock yarn here with me and I am starting that as soon as I get there. I started my purple haze purse with the berroco mohair I LOVE it. I will get a pic tomorrow I don't have much done on it so it doesn't show well right now. Posted by Picasa
